The Calcium Sulfonate Carbonate products are "Rust preventive additives". They act as a physical and electrochemical barrier on the metal surface, and protect against moisture & acid aggression.

They are built up from a nano particles « core/shell » structure of Calcium carbonate coated with Calcium sulphonate, can be dispersed in any kind of carrier such as Petroleum basis, Synthetic esters, Alkylates, and Vegetable oils.

Calcium carbonate sulfonate is also used as "Industrial grease lubricants" (open gears, bearings, steel mills, marine decks, paper mills). Obviously the anticorrosive performances have an interest in "Anticorrosive greases".

PCAS is offering a range of hydraulic fluids called Fyrquels.

Fyrquels are classified as HFD-R hydraulic fluids according to the 7th Luxemburg Report (1994).

The naturals and blends are used in power stations as electro hydraulic control fluids. The synthetics are used in steel mills, reciprocating pumps and other hydraulic systems where fire resistant fluids are required.
