The PCAS Board of Directors has taken the decision to organise the Group into two poles:
- a Fine Specialty Chemicals pole, with Alain DUGUEYT as Director.
- a Pharmaceutical Synthesis pole, with Vincent TOURAILLE as Director.
Alain DUGUEYT holds a degree from « HEC » and has spent most of his career in the chemicals sector.
Export Manager of ROUSSEL UCLAF from 1982 to 1984, he joined the RHONE POULENC Group in 1985, where he held various important positions abroad ( Middle East , Vietnam , Brazil ) before being nominated head of BUTACHIMIE, a joint venture between Dupont de Nemours and Rhône Poulenc. Vice President of AMOCO Chemical Europe from 1998 to 1999, then General Director of REXEL from 2000 to 2003, since then he has held the position of Managing Partner of DSF, a subsidiary of the ATYS Group.
Nominated the PCAS Fine Specialty Chemicals Department Director, he will manage the industrial activities of the Bourgoin, Couterne and Mourenx sites in France as well as the Saint-Jean site in Canada . He will also oversee the Department's Marketing and Sales teams and sit on the Executive Committee.
Vincent TOURAILLE holds degrees from the « ENSCP » and the « ESSEC » and began his career in 1989 where he held various positions within the SHELL Group. Since 1998, he has continued his career within PCAS where he has successively held the position of Marketing and Sales Director of the Industrial Chemicals department, then Marketing and Sales Director of the Pharmaceutical Synthesis activity. He also sits on the Executive Committee.
Nominated Director of the Pharmaceutical Synthesis Department, he will add to his responsibilities the overseeing of the industrial activities of the four cGMP sites of the Group (Limay, Aramon and Villeneuve-la-Garenne in France as well as Turku in Finland ).
In addition, Jean-Paul BOUTELLIER will take a well-earned retirement and will be replaced as Managing Director of the PCAS Group by Philippe DELWASSE, a graduate from the “Ecole Polytechnique”.
